This memory popped up & stopped me cold. Stan was responsible for leading me on the path of sobriety, have his daughter caregiver my baby daughter so I could return to work, kept my job open at the time. This month, I retired to Florida & it would not have been possible without Stan. Rest in Power

For unknown reasons, I decided to google "Stan Aydt" a few minutes ago and was saddened to stumble across this obituary... and so I feel compelled to write a note, expressing my condolences to the Aydt family. I haven't had much (if any) contact with the family since childhood, but I DID have the fortune of playing baseball for Stan (with Pat & Mike)on 2 different teams when I was 12 & 15 years old... and I turn 50 (!!!) later this year. "Mr. Aydt" was a patient and influential teacher & coach for me and I enjoyed my greatest baseball successes under his watch... he was "the best". I'll always remember how he would treat the team at Dairy Queen after each victory... and needless to say, we won about 90% of the games we played during those 2 seasons. He'd often pick me up in his Suburban (along with a bunch of the other guys) for practices and games... and I recall spending quite a few nights at his home afterwards, watching a Twins game or an All-Star Game. A few years later, he helped me buy my first car at Iten Chevrolet. Although I eventually lost touch with him and the family, I'd still think of him from time to time over the years (just like I did a few minutes ago) for no apparent reason... and now, having just found out about his passing, I feel regrets for not having looked him up at least once in more recent times. To the family, I wanted to say how sorry I was to discover this today... and to tell you how much of an impact he had on me in the relatively short amount of time that I spent in his presense. He was a wonderful guy and I'll remember him always. My sympathies to you all...

My heart is very heavy. My families thoughts and prayers are with the Aydt family. Stan had such a positive impact on my life, and for that I will forever be indebtted. He was one of the best people I've ever had the priviledge of calling my freind. He will certainly be missed. May God bless the family.

I'm not sure what to say. I've known Stan & Marjorie for about 10 years and got to know them as they visited my post office every couple of days. Stan always had a wisecrack for me and Marjorie still is one of my favorite customers. I happened to meet one of their daughters a couple of years ago and made sure I told her how fantastic her parents were. They remind me of my own parents. I'm just so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. Your whole family will be in my wives and my prayers. Deepest sympathies. Keith (Lost Lake Post Office)

WE ARE SO SORRY FOR FOR YOUR LOSS, WE KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO LOSE A LOVE ONE THAT YOU CAN NOT RECOVER THE FEELINGS OF THE SEPERATION TO YOUR LOVE ONE. HE WILL MEET WITH HIS OTHER FAMILY WITH OPEN ARMS, IT IS HARD WITH NO DOUBT TO ACCEPT, BUT REMBER HE HAD MANY YEARS TO CREATE MANY JOYFUL MEMORIES FOR THE LARGE FAMILY YOU HAVE.. WE KNOW HE LOVED HIS FAMILY IMMENSELY AND FAMILY WAS HIS LIGHT OF HIS DAY. HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND WE MAY LEARN FROM HIS NATURE THAT LIFE IS GRAND!

WITH LOVE, CHRIS AND BARB ADAMS
