From the time we were 5 and 6 years old, my brother, AJ, and I always looked forward to our weekend trips to Edgewater-New Smyrna to visit Uncle Stan and Aunt Patty.
My fondest memories were the times when Uncle Stan took us all on boat rides and when he and Aunt Patty taught us how to fish off their dock. My brother and I also loved wading in the river, checking the crab traps, hunting for clams, and exploring and picking wildflowers from the field next to their house. And when I got much older, Uncle Stan took me out for a ride on his awesome motorcycle. More recently, he used his woodworking and carpentry skills to make a child's table and chair set for my young daughter, Isabella. She enjoys using it every day and we will treasure his special handmade gift for many years to come.
As I look back over the years, I am grateful that Uncle Stan made it possible for me to enjoy many wonderful childhood experiences at their house on the river that I will never forget. He holds a special place in our hearts, and he will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Uncle Stan.
Love,
Natalie

Where does one start about the friendship we had. From going to get coffee and apple fritters, we traveled the area looking for the biggest fritter, trips to Home Depot for his/our many woodworking projects, to helping each other on home projects and repairs. But still, the best part of our friendship was when we would talk about your childhood memories and many escapades.
Stan, loved you like a brother and respected you like a Father.
RIP, my good friend,
Ken Gelineau

I have many fond memories of spending time with Stan and my sister Patty in Edgewater/ New Smyrna Beach.
Whether it was fishing off the dock, enjoying a boat ride and then lunch at JB´s Fish Camp, or just catching up on his latest woodworking projects, Stan was always full of life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends who visited. I especially remember how he loved to sit on the back patio while we all sipped a glass of wine and enjoyed watching the boats on the inter coastal.
It always impressed me that Stan was a man of many accomplishments and interests. As a resourceful and skilled tradesman, Stan was never hesitant to share his talents to help others. Whether it was replacing a fence panel in my back yard or installing a new plumbing fixture, Stan helped my family in countless ways over the years for which I am very grateful.
Stan´s impact and generous spirit will continue to be felt by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in our hearts.

My first memory of Stan was shortly before he married my sister, Patty Hoover Hromyak, in 1986. He was driving a classic old Lincoln, that he loved. We had many memories over the 38 years the two were married. My husband and I would stay with them when we visited every winter in Edgewater, FL for many years. He was as devoted to Patty and she was to him. The two were inseparable. My sympathies to her and all of his family. May he rest in peace.
