We always enjoyed Stan and Evelyn and visited with them often. They enjoyed when we would bring our kids to visit. Stan talked to them about growing up. He amazed us how much he knew. He died too soon

When we first met Stan and Evelyn we thought they were hippies. They would walk around the big counlty blook and Evelyn had long hair and so did Stan. They were very friendly and drove a older station wagon. Then after we visited them a few times and they told us about their jobs and life we all just laughed. They were good people and were always good to the whole neighboor hood. They are missed

I'm so sorry to find out about Stan's passing. He was a dear friend and valued colleague to many of us at Argonne National Laboratory. May he rest in peace.

My father (Michitoshi Soga) met Stan back in 1961 at Argonne National Laboratory and he and my mother (Ryoko) became life-long friends along with his wife Evelyn. Stan was an intellectual giant but also a kind and gentle soul. Although Evelyn was a genius in her own right, Stan's steadfast support helped her to fulfill her artistic capability. Stan was a good man and a beloved friend to the Soga family. He will be greatly missed.

We have known Stan and Elevlyn for over 35 years. Our kids visited them at the old school they had purchased and made their home and art gallery for Elevlyn in Allegan, Michigan - they both had become our friends and we thought they both were amazing people - They died too young and well be missed

So sorry to hear of Stan's passing. It was a privilege to be a part of the Speakeasy "family" while working for EMCC where I came to know Stan through our many conversations.
