Wow Janet, your Dad was an amazing man! How lucky that you have those carvings he made with his own hands. I know you will treasure them forever. Sending love and hugs. He was lucky to have you! XOX

My condolences to your family. Your Grampy was a good friend of my Grampa, Vinal Lobley, and starred in many a story from their younger years in Bangor. So many stories in fact, my cousin and I thought our Grampa had made up your Grampy. How surprised we were when they reconnected several years ago prior to my Grampa's passing in 2014! We thought- wait...Stanley Fletcher is REAL?!?!? We couldn't get over it. :) And reading the lovely things you have written about him, it came over me - not only is Stanley Fletcher real, but what an accomplished guy!! Definitely the end of an era. I hope your wonderful memories of him are a comfort to you now and in the future. Sending love to you all. - Jennifer Lobley
