Stanley Hicks Goodman Jr.

Stanley Hicks Goodman Jr., 54, of Oklahoma City, passed away June 11, 2009 after a battle with cancer. Stanley was born August 9, 1954 in Oklahoma City. Stan was originally from Ada, OK, where he had his own salvage. Stan moved to OKC in 1993 and worked for Dale Terrell Homes for 12 years. He then opened his own discount store. He also enjoyed fixing up old cars. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Goodman; his mother, Violet Irene; his children: Stacy, Tommy, Jimmy, Jennifer and Larry; grandchildren: Zachary, John Dean, Michael, Scott, Samantha, Davion, Jay, Zane, Paige, Jimmy Dale, Shawn, Brittany, Dillon and Taylor; his sisters: Drucilla Goodman, Monnie Smith, JoAnn Balaska, Jeannette Calhoun; one brother, Jerry Goodman. He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Goodman Sr.; and brother, Eugene Goodman. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Church, located at 4300 N. MacArthur, OKC. Stanley will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
