Mr K was a great man, phenomenal Engineer, accomplished musician, Navy Commander, and wonderful neighborhood friend who many of us would come to visit and share good times. The engineer in me would love watching him work on his air conditioner, radios, television, and hear military stories. I will always cherish those times, and I am very grateful for having had the honor to have known him. My prayers and condolences go out to the entire Krolczyk family.

Growing Up with a Hero right next to me.

My Heart goes out to the entire family and I pray you find peace in knowing that he lives through you. True Heroes are all around us moving forward, not living in the past and I was honored to learn more about his past as I grew older. Growing up around this family full of love was a blessing and I now understand why. I knew so little about Mr Krolczyk' s past other than I hated when Navy Beat Army in Football...He loved it. Personal experiences in the Military taught me to not be afraid to ask Veterans tougher questions, but little did I know about this incredible man. He influenced my entire adult life and showed me that True Heroes are always moving forward with a Zest For Life that most will never realize. True Heroes know the value of Honor, Integrity; of giving back to our community and Nation. True heroes know that our Nation is flawed but also know that our system is the greatest in the world and is self correcting as long as "Good Men Do Something". Mr Krolczky walked among us living life to the fullest. His deeds in the Pacific were nothing more than a glimpse of the greatness that he displayed throughout his life. I am blessed to know him and my prayers go out to the entire family. Our Nation lost a Hero.

I worked with Stan many years ago at AUTEC. I have such fond memories of those days and the twinkle in his eye. He was always full of enthusiasm and of course the ever-present unlit cigar. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

What I remember most was the ever present cigar, that was never lit, his fiddle that he played so well, and the Polish jokes.
