STANLEY A.
Age 83, of Harmar, passed away on June 2, 2014, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Aspinwall. He was born in Russellton on September 12, 1930, to his parents, the late John and Bertha Zabarowski Kuczynski and had been a lifelong resident of the Valley. Stanley graduated from West Deer High School in 1948. Mr. Kuczynski served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked at Westinghouse for over 24 years before retiring and was a member of Our Lady Of Victory Church in Harwick. Stanley was an avid gardener and huge soccer enthusiast but, most of all, he enjoyed playing pinochle with his family. Surviving Stanley are his loving wife of 57 years, Marie Kust Kuczynski; daughters, Janice (Russell) Gregory of W. Homestead, Joanne (Daniel) Funyak of Harmar; son, John (Sharon) Kuczynski of Harmar; brother, Henry Kuczynski of Cheswick; sister, Bertha Molnar of Florida; grandchildren, Kristin and Steven Gregory, Alea and Jacob Kuczynski and Michael and Craig Funyak; also survived by nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Kuczynski. His family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1607 Pgh. St. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Of Victory Church, Harwick, the Rev. Alan Morris officiating, with burial in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
