When Ray would call me, he would always leave a message saying "Hi Heather, this is your big brother Ray". It made my heart warm to hear him so proud to be my big brother.

Rest In Peace big Brother. You were a great big brother to me and a fun uncle to your niece, in our time of hanging, (Savage and New Ulm) Only we know the stories !!!! lol
So many fun/crazy times that I will cherish and hold on to, and some very honest conversations, it was what it was, and you were YOU!!!
"That was my brother, I would say" and that was ok !
I won´t forget those times Ray ! You are at peace, and FREE now !!!

Ray... so grateful we got to connect over the last few years. Although it came late, the impact you made on my healing journey is powerful and un-matched by any other. I won't forget our tears, our laughs, or the fact that you and I are Nickelback's only fans. Grateful you and Emery got to share FaceTime calls before it was too late. I know he will hold on to those moments. You did bigger things than I think you even realized when you were here. You're my definition of brave. Love you big bro.
