I just was reflecting back on my musical career and recalled Mr. Torgerson. He was always very patient and kind. Someone mentioned that a big guy like him could hold a cello like a violin. So he hoisted one up and played it that way. Rest in Peace, sir. You impacted many lives. Thank you

Mr T was my orchestra teacher, as well. (Osseo High School, class of '80) He was so patient and kind with us. I learned to appreciate music and to understand teamwork under his direction. God bless!

Stan was a tremendous man and teacher. I last ran into Stan at the bank. After we finished conversing, a young boy came up and asked me if that was Mr. Torerson who just left.I informed that indeed it was Mr. Torgerson. The boy proceded to tell me what a great teacher Stan was, and how he had made a difference in his life. What a fine tribute to a great man. May you find peace in Stan's contributions to young people.

Bette,

I am so sorry. You are often in my thoughts. I remember when we coached volleyball together and both our fathers were ill. That was such a difficult time and now you have to face this loss.

Warmest regards,
