I am so sorry and shocked foe your loss. Stan was a wonderful neighbor. He was always out walking his dogs and always had a friendly smile and hello. He will be sorrowfully miss by all.

A wonderful man and great teacher! It´s been 24 years and I still remember his kindness, empathy and compassion towards me when my grandmother died. Such a big heart. He was loved by everyone he met and will be greatly missed.

My favourite Baking Chef Instructor at NC, Always kind and supportive to students. Thank you for the many treats shared over the years and your eternal wisdom

I am in shock, what an incredible loss. My heartfelt condolences to you Jane, whom he always talked about and adored, and all of the family. Chef Stanley West was also my mentor, chef, professor and confidant many years ago at NC. Coming into class he would always have a smile and a convo about back home, or food of course lol. I kept in touch via fb, still asking for his advice or a recipe and he was always there to answer.
I admired, respected and adored Chef West. He truly was one if a kind and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Rest in peace

My sincere condolences to you Jane and your family. I worked with Stan at Niagara College for many years and had many great conversations with him. Although heaven has truly gained an angel, he will be missed greatly. What a wonderful man, professor, husband, father and friend. RIP Stan.
