I was very saddened to hear about Stef's passing. She was my mentor while I did my graphic design internship at Blue Cross Blue Shield. In my time there, I learned so much by working with her. She was always so patient and kind and had an incredible sense of humor. Just being around her was so much fun and she never failed to make me feel comfortable and a part of the team, which I valued so much.

I'm grateful that this experience enabled me to become friends with her and remain so even after my internship. She is one of the most creative, loving and genuine people I have ever met. I will miss her smile and contagious positive energy, but I know that I'm so lucky to have known her. Sincerest condolences to her family and Aaron.

To the Friends and Family of Stefanie Haller:

I am so sorry to hear about Stefanie's passing. We went to school with each other at Canevin and played volleyball on the same team Freshman year. While we didn't stay close throughout high school, here's what I remember about Stefanie:

1)She loved LL Cool J.
2)We did a freshman English project together with Lauren Dugan in Mr. M's class based on the book A Separate Peace by John Knowles where we created a rap about one of the characters named Finny to the tune of Notorious B.I.G.'s Hypnotize. (We laughed A LOT and could barely do it.)
3)She had a great friendship with Jody Mader that we all got to enjoy because it was like having our own cast of SNL at school when they were together just being themselves.
4)She always had a smile on her face.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this tremendous loss. What a wonderful life she had on this Earth, however brief. Try to keep her smile with you always.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Stephanie's passing. I was her 4th grade teacher at St. Cyril of Alexandria School. She was a wonderful student and a delightful young lady. She accomplished much on her journey, as we all knew she would. My prayers go out to her husband and family. Be at peace Stef...your light will go on shining.

I was so sorry to hear about Stefanie. Condolences to her husband and family. I taught Stefanie in first grade at St.Cyril's. I remember her as a sweet, happy little girl always smiling. She excelled in her studies and had many friends. I was impressed with her accomplishments as an adult, but knew she would be successful. Be with God,Stefanie.

Stef was a beautiful person inside and out -- and I count myself among the lucky to have known her. She was incredibly creative, positive and fearlessly pursued her dreams. We should all be a little more like her. To her husband, parents and siblings, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. The world is a little less bright without Stef in it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Stefanie, and your husband and friends. I will always remember you as the most funny, light-hearted, kind, sassy dancer from the Crusettes. You had me laughing so hard, so many times. Although we lost touch over the years, I often looked at some of the trinkets from those days with your pictures and felt like the world was a better place with you in it, wherever you where. It will continue to be a better place because you were here. Again, my sincerest condolences to the Haller family and her husband, Aaron

Dearest Haller family and Aaron, my heart breaks for you all right now. Stef was the most artistic, unique, kind, caring and compassionate person I've ever met. In grade school, Stef was the resident artist, putting the rest of our paper mâché projects to shame. In high school, Stef's passions for art and dance were constantly on display, both in the school bookcases and on the football field. I will forever cherish our morning rides to high school together. I made Stef late for school for two straight years and yet she continued to pick me up day after day so we could blast terrible 90s music and sing during the morning commute. Heaven gained a beautiful angel in Stef. When I see a beautiful sunset now, I will know Stef had a hand in painting it. May she rest in peace. Xo

Stef was a terrific person and friend; just being around her was a gift. She deepened my love and appreciation of yoga as both a spiritual and physical act and for that I am forever grateful.

Prayers for peace in your hearts during this time. Stef was always a radiant light to everyone she was around. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Although we were not close friends, the memories I had with her were filled with laughter and fun. She was such a free spirit who brought happiness to everyone. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
