Stella Dorothy Buselli, 100, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Conn. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Mario A. Buselli, a Waterbury businessman and co-founder of MarVic Cleaners Inc.

Stella was born April 4, 1915, in Scranton, and relocated to Wolcott, Conn., in 1955. In addition to raising their two sons and working as secretary treasurer in the family business, Stella was, for many years, an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 42 while residing in Scranton. She later, while living in Wolcott, became an avid square dancer and instructor.

Stella's final goal was to "make it to the century mark" and to visit with her recently born great-grandchildren. She loved life, and especially enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun, where she would often be found at the Bingo tables.

Surviving are her son, Victor J. Buselli, his wife, Kathryn, their daughters, Julie and Marcy, and their two children, Sidney and Abigail; and her son, Frank M. Buselli, Esq., his wife, Pamela Sue, and their children, Dr. James Buselli, Breckenridge Buselli and Lisa Robbins.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Mario Francis Buselli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church, Southmayd Road, Waterbury.

Friends may call at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, from 9 a.m. until time to leave for Mass at 10. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Wolcott.
