Stella "Sunny" Peters RN

Sunny was a very special person and she will be missed by all those who knew her. She left behind some beautiful memories. May she rest in peace.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Sunny was a very special person I greatly enjoyed the time I worked with her in Lame Deer, and the times up at the ranch, she will be missed by all she touched.

Joanne, Jim, & Joy...I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Your mother was a wonderful person, friend and nurse.
I too worked with her at the N.C. clinic some years ago. She left so many of us with great memories.

Sunny was a great person, I remember her when she was a nurse at the Lame Deer School, She was the best nurse ever. We will miss her dearly. Your family are in our prayers.

My prayers go out to the family. I will sincerely miss "Sunny", I worked very closely with her at the Shoulderblade Complex and also when I first became a Health Worker for the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. She was my mentor and friend. The CHR program will miss her also as they visited her whenever they were in town. May Maheo bless you and your family in your time of sorrow.

Sunny volunteered regularly at the VA in Miles City where I first met her in 1995...She was a super lady, fun to talk with, caring, positive attitude, always had a smile and kind things to say about people and loved to help veterans...She was a top notch volunteer at the VA...I will miss her...rgm

To the Peters family,
Sonny was always my favorite nurse at Lame Deer School. She gave her heart to her job and the Northern Cheyenne. She will be missed. She definitely left her mark on the Northern Cheyenne communty. George Birtic

"Sunny" was a Great person. The world needs more like her. "Sunny" always gave to anyone in need, she was a straight shooter no beating around the bush with her. Sunny gave me all of my shots as a child growing up. (still scared to death of needles) She will be missed by all that knew her. Sunny had a great life I'm happy she was a part of my life. Ha Ho!!

My prayers are offered for all of us who loved Sunny and who benefited from her caring, healing ways. Our family enjoyed having Joy as part of the Fleming Daycare Center and Sunny's "Good morning" was a great way to start the day. Her legacy in the medical field is huge and her friendship will be sorely missed. May the family find comfort in her continued love.

Sonny was "one in a million." I have wonderful memories of her and I am thankful that I was lucky to have known her. My sincerest sympathies to her family.

Sunny was sunshine to everyone's life in Lame Deer, especially the elders at the Wendellshoulderblade Center. I remember the elders would say Sunny could heal them when they were sick. She is going to be greatly missed.
