Stella SKARBEK Obituary
(nee Venne)
Passed away peacefully on March 26, 2018 at the age of 88. Reunited with her beloved husband of 50 years, Ted Sr. (2002). Cherished mother of Carol Campeau (2006) (Don "Weazel") (Judy Spearin); Ted Jr. (Joanne Ayotte); Tom (Patti Kozak); and Susan Johnston (Gord). Loving grandmother of Brandon and Adam (Olivia) Skarbek, and Lauren and Gregory Johnston. Daughter of the late Amanda and Alfred Venne. Dear sister of her late siblings, Adelord "Ed"(Julia) Venne; Bernadette Venne; Bertha (Ed) Roberts and Sr. Paulette Venne. Dear sister- in-law to Ed Skarbek and the late Irene and Jerry Gault, and late Stanley Skarbek. Survived by several nieces and nephews of the Venne, Roberts and Gault families. Stella was a long-time parishioner of St. Rose/St. John Vianney Churches. Her humour and strength will be fondly remembered. The family would like to thank the Villages of Aspen Lake particularly the staff and other residents from her "Riverside" neighbourhood for the love and care shown to Stella. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to APPD (Association for Persons with Physical Disabilities) or your favourite charity. Visitation Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 3 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 10 a.m. at

We are so sorry to hear of Stella's passing. We were neighbors of the Skarbek's on Isabelle St. many years ago. We have a lot of great memories of all the card games, and neighbors getting together.
