I first met Stephanie in 1990. She was a bright, precocious, and observant young girl ( pictured as the youngest daughter) and was very hard working and dedicated to her family.
She will be missed!

One of the most meaningful friendships I made in my blogging years was with Steph. Although most of our interactions were on Twitter, she made me feel loved and important no matter how we spent time together. So many laughs, so many hugs and smiles, and group lunches where she made sure everyone was invited. Her circle of influence that has been even more evident as I learned of her passing. I´ll never forget the way she reached out to me in some of my darkest struggles with mental and physical health challenges, and it cemented her as an important part of my world. I will miss you and your incredible light, Steph.

I second what Nathan said. Stephanie was a wonderful friend to our family. But more importantly, she was a wonderful friend to me. Though we lost touch the last couple years, I knew I could still reach out if I needed her help-and she'd be here in record time (and with a fountain beverage in hand). Becoming friends with Steph was one of the best things about my time as a blogger. So many wonderful memories. Those years were better and brighter because of her. Love you, Steph.

Brian,
I was so sorry to hear about your wife´s passing. I can´t imagine the weight of this loss, but I wanted you to know that I´m thinking of you and holding your family in my heart.
I remember how fondly you spoke of your wife. Your love for her was always so clear. I hope you´re able to find some comfort in the memories you shared and in the support of those who love and care about you.
My deepest condolences,
Cheryl Call

I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Stephanie-our 'OG'. She was not only a mentor but also a true inspiration to us all. Her leadership, kindness, and wisdom left a lasting impact on everyone who worked with her. My thoughts are with the family during this incredibly difficult time.
Please know that I am here to offer any support you may need in the days ahead.
With heartfelt sympathy,
AG

My favorite memory of Stephanie was her baby shower for Lily. She was so so excited to have her and just in love before she even met her. The way she mothered her boys when I met her (they were early teen age) had a big impact on how I loved on my own teens now. Lots of love to you all.

I normally lean on Emily to speak for us both for these types of things. But Stephanie always went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and befriended and so... Even though we had not talked in a while I know that I could have called her at any moment and she would have dropped everything to help us. She did help us many times. She shared her experiences with such humility and took the time to listen to ours. Thank you Stephanie for being a fantastic friend to our family. We are better for having experienced your love and kindness. We miss you.

Stephanie was one of the most whole hearted, genuine souls I've ever known. Our babies played together, we traveled together, and kept each other laughing in more late night chats than I can count. She reached out and looked after me in some of my darkest times.
I'm so sorry for the pain her loved ones are experiencing now.
Oh Steph. Your beautiful light will be so missed.
