Stephanie McGarr

Stephanie Nicole McGarr, 42, passed away on February 17, 2025, in Ukiah, California.

Born on February 12, 1983, in Ukiah, Stephanie was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She was deeply devoted to her family and found immense joy in providing everything for her daughter, Bristol Boele. Stephanie's unwavering love and dedication to Bristol were at the heart of everything she did.

Stephanie had a passion for cooking and baking, often sharing her creations with those around her. She also played an active role in her local soccer league as an assistant director, contributing her time and energy to support the sport and its players. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life-she and Bristol were baptized together and never missed a Sunday at church.

Despite facing significant health challenges due to Type 1 diabetes and the lasting effects of a car accident, Stephanie fought through each day with remarkable strength and resilience. Her determination and spirit were an inspiration to those who knew her.

She is survived by her cherished daughter, Bristol Boele; her father, Kevin McGarr, and stepmother, Dana McGarr; her mother, Cathy Avants; her brother, Brandon McGarr, and sister-in-law, Lisa McGarr; her stepsister, Tia Walters, and brother-in-law, Cory Walters; as well as her grandmothers, Judy Martin and Patsy Avants Wilson. She is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents Martin and Mary McGarr and her grandfather Cliff Avants.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
