Thank you, Steffie, for taking a terrible chance on me, thirty-five years ago. I am so very grateful and humbled to have lived in your glorious orbit all these many, but too few, years. I miss you terribly, already. I can´t even begin to imagine a world where you are not; it´s already colder, darker, and sadder. I guess now I have to soldier on without the best part of me, and hope that the man that you helped me become is man enough to face this long, lonely unknown. Thank you for not ever giving up on me, thank you for six amazing and beautiful children, thank you for teaching me the meaning of true and selfless love, thank you for being unswerving in your faith, thank you for never backing down from anything.
