Please know that I keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I have had the happy privilege to meet Stephanie on several occasions as she visited her sister Adrian at our community. Stephanie was a joy to be around and I remember those times with great fondness. She brought cheer and a vibrant spirit to those around her.

Stephanie was always very kind and motivating to me. She knew me before I became a student, or had a real job, and she always had words of encouragement for me over the years. I used to cut her grass for them every couple of weeks, and that helped me and my wife Laura out while I was in school. She also came by my work a few months before she passed, and had a bag of gifts for my new son Rowan, at the time I didnt understand why she was so adamant about coming by. Looking back, who would know that we would only experience a few more months with her. Stephanie taught me a valuable lesson in that appreciate the little things in your life, and dont get caught up in the big picture that you miss the small important pieces. She will be dearly missed by the Yorks

Stephanie was an important friend to our family. She was our hair stylist for my mom, sister and myself for approx 30 yrs. She did important milestones for our family through doing my wedding, my pageant for AAMED in the 70's and my mom's funeral. Not only was she our hair stylist but a dear friend as well. She was a proud mother and wife. She always talked about the car shows and road trips she did with John. She showed me all the presents she bought every year for her future grandchildren. She was so proud of you JW and all of your accomplishments. I am glad she got to see our son when he was little. I wish I had seen her before we moved to Indiana. We did manage to stay in touch through Christmas cards and Facebook. She was a great lady and she will truly be missed. Thought and prayers are with John, you and your family. I know it is tough to loose someone during the holidays. I lost both my mom on 11/1/05, my sister 11/1/14, my mother-in-law 10/31/12 and an aunt 12/24/ 75. So I can actually say I know how it feels.
