A year has passed and it seems like yesterday when we still talk and laugh together...Your memories will be forever in my heart...I may not have attended the service, but one day soon, I’ll get to visit...I promised myself to write here as soon as I have the courage to do so.., as soon as I’m ready to let go..
Thanks to the Arras family..May God bless you as we remember the fun loving memories we shared with him..

The service was beautiful--
thank you to New Life Church for allowing us to use their very nice facility and a big thanks especially to all those who helped at the service and with all the preparations leading up to it.

Thank you to everyone who has left a guest book entry so far; to those who have spoken with my parents over the phone or visited; to those who have sent a card; to those who were able to attend the service for Steve; and those who have kept Steve and our family in your thoughts and prayers.

Not to mention all the flowers, gifts, meals and other support that all of our families' good friends and relatives have provided-- it is heartening to see the love that others have expressed through their actions. God bless you all and we look forward to staying in touch-- and for anyone who comes upon this guestbook after this message, please keep it alive by entering your thought or prayer. (And you can reach us by email link below.)

To the family of Stephen Arras -- You will be in my thoughts and prayers today as you celebrate the life of Stephen. It seems like just yesterday when I would pick up Stephen & Eric on our way to BCHS. Those were great days. I know today will be tough but may God give you peace and comfort through this difficult time.

To the Family of Stephen Arras,

May the Lord comfort and strengthen you during this difficult time. I'm so sorry to hear of this news. Though it's been a long time, I remember Stephen (and Eric) at Berean and what a kind and fun person he was. I was hoping to reconnect with him at our 20th reunion this year, but I know we will meet again one day in the presence of our Savior. I will keep you all in my prayers. May the love of our Father hold you at this time.

Dear Steve and Family,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. There are no words to express our sorrow. We will always keep the memories of Steve, the fond conversations we shared, and his amazing ability to repair anything very close to our hearts. He was always such a kind and compassionate young man... Everything he did was always with a smile, with manners, and with a spirit of giving and helping others. Our family will never forgot all that you have done for us. At times like this, words seem so powerless to express the feelings in our hearts. God Bless you Steve and all your family at this very sad time.

When i heard that Steve had passed away, i was the most shocked and devastated i have ever been about anybody's death. I just could not believe it. I am 22 years old and the concept of death is very hard for me to grasp especially when it is someone like Steve Arras. He has done so much for me and my mom over the years. He was so smart, he could fix almost anything and he did fix everything that needed to be fixed around our house. He was the sweetest, brightest and most special person. I enjoyed talking to him because he was such a character and not like everyone else. He was such a good person.

Thank you for everything Steve. We will sure miss seeing you around the here, it won't be the same without you.

Im so glad we had the pleasure to me him. We loved him dearly and thought the world of him. i only wish i could have more time with him on earth. I know that its the hardest for those of us still on earth because we miss him and we wont see him anymore but i know Steve is in a good place now.

To family and friends, we are so sorry about your loss.

Dear Betty, Ken, Chris, Mitzi, Eric and grandchildren, What does one say when a tragedy occurs? There are no words to make it better.Just know all our love and sympathy are with you all at this time. The love of your family and friends , and the Lord will get you all through this trying time, though right now, you see no end to your grief. It does get better. Having gone through a double tragedy ourselves, we feel you hurt and dispair. Lean on each other, that"s what family and friends are for.It Will get easier in time.Be strong for each other---- Stephen is at peace.

Stephen,
You and your family have been a prayer in my heart since Tuesday when I heard you are no longer with your family here on earth. In talking with your niece, Tyra, I know your nieces and nephew will be missing your kindness and quiet generous spirit in their lives. We will always remember your quiet, kind presence in the family gatherings we attended. We know you have love and peace in heaven and we hope your family will find comfort during this difficult time.

I'm so very sad and shocked to hear of Steve's passing. I will hold dear the memories of times we've spent sharing horse / life stories and remember always your great spirit and your quiet but witty sense of humor. You were as pure and honest as a person could be. My family appreciates all the hard work you've done for us over the years. I know your faith was very strong and I hope you are finding great comfort, love and joy in heaven. God Bless you and your family at this very challenging time.

Steve,

We will always hold our memories of you close to our hearts, to warm us while we complete our time on this earth. Then, when we meet again some day, we will tell you how important it was to us to have those memories of you in our lives. I know that, if there are horses in Heaven, you will be riding one. I pray that we will emulate all the wonderful characteristics and qualities that you displayed in your life-- your kind heart, your unselfishness, your giving spirit and infectious laugh-- as long as we walk this earth. Vaya con Dios, my brother, and I will see you some day on the other side...
