Our condolences to your family on the loss of your father. Although I only had the privlidge of meeting Mr Berry a few times, it was a true pleasure to do so and to share Steve, Jr and Brian as part of an extended family those years they were at ND. Our prayers go out to the entire family.

Steve will truly be missed by all in the hardwood lumber business. He was a great friend whom you always enjoyed being in his presence. I had the privilege of spending many a day with Steve on the golf course, in business and an occasional trip to play golf in a tournament in Indiana. I will always have those memories of a true friend and colleague. Clear Blackberry Air.

To Chris-I found out too late to attend. My condolences for your loss. Your dad was a great man, and I wish I could be there for you. Losing your father is difficult. Take care of your mom and yourself-

Our thoughts and prayer are with Rosemary and all the "kids" and grandchildren. He was one of those people that are larger than life and I know that his passing will leave a big gap in the lives of his family and friends. God Bless.

While I did not know Steve in person, I have had the pleasure of working with his son and hearing the wonderful stories about his fathers accomplishments and adventures. His son Steve is a wonderful person and this is the influence of great parents. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends, as we know he will be missed. Steve will be missed for he was a great over the fence backyard neighbor. I always enjoyed talking college football with him. God bless Steve and his family.

I will remember Steve as a gregarious and gracious member of the Notre Dame family. He was always the friendliest man in the room and a joy to be around. We have a great new Guardian Angel in heaven with Our Lady.
