Steve and I set the grading curve of every Science class we attended at Moreno Valley High School from 1970 to 1974 (sorry, everyone else!) and we were always lab partners. We had too much fun in those classes and we always cracked each other up. Such great memories and such a fun guy.

To Lisa and Family, I would consider Steve my best friend in high school and coincidentally we both attended Cal Poly Pomona. I had no idea he had passed. I apologize for this belated letter of condolence. I have many memories and tales to tell. He may have told you of the spelling bee we managed to avoid, at great length, in high school. Perhaps he told of his stint as the morning student announcer he called himself the silver esophagus. I knew your mother as well and hope she is doing well.

To the Bonnell family ~

I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. We were classmates from 6th-12th grades and Steve was one of those people that I frequently thought of over the years wondering what he was up to.

Again, I am so sorry for your loss. With sympathy ~

Please accept our deepest sympathy for you and your family. We would like to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. We appreciated having Steve as the church moderator to work with our office. He always seemed willing to try to meet our needs and very helpful if we had questions or concerns.

Our prayers are for you and your family,
From the Youth for Christ Office

Linda, Jenny, Mary Eve and Seth (and Laura),

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear husband and father. Laura, Jordan, Joshua and I were so fortunate to have visited with Linda and Steve in August of this year. God has him now - wonderful for him, but sad for us. The photo of him that you selected on this page is a good one. His eyes are smiling along with his face. :o)

May God bless you all.
