Stephen was a devoted man of prayer and hilarious - he was quite patient with my attempts to read Dante and to learn Latin. He never gave up on me. He loves his father Hector and mother Linda Marie very much and often would request that I pray for their souls. Kathy, Susie, Robbie, Julie (your twins) and Daniel - he spoke regularly about how important you are to his life. This morning I will pray a divine mercy chaplet for Stephen, may he be resting in peace. Jesus we trust in you.

We were greatly saddened to learn of Stephen's passing. Stephen was a good friend and fellow Christian who loved sharing his knowledge and enthusiasims with others, substantially enriching their lives in the process. In our case those passions were for Dante, Latin, some of the best food to be had in San Francisco, and Assisi, Italy.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
