Dear Estner family:
My sincere condolences. Miles and I worked as forensic psychiatrists and quite often (while we were waiting in Court) we had the chance of getting to know each other. I always found him as a very diligent and caring physician, quite passionate and involved in the forensic field.
I will be missing his comments, his wit and his smile

The loss of Tuvia's love, kindness and infective sense of humor has left a gaping, empty place in my life. I am grateful for the time that we had together. A huge thank you for the love and kindness that the friends and family of Tuvia (Stephen) in Pittsburgh showed to me during the shiva week. May Hashem return your consideration and love in multiplied waves of blessings.

Miles and I spent a year together during our forensic fellowship in San Luis Obispo. Although I moved to So. Cal. afterward, Miles and I keep in touch sporadically, discussing our caseload and common chosen profession. He was a gentle, kind, intelligent human being. My sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Seymour, Mike and Anita

It was shocking to hear about Stephen's passing. The last time I saw him was a quick visit to Washington DC when he stayed over with me - may have been having an interview. That was a few years before he went into Psychiatry. I can recall him being torn for a while between Law, business and Medicine when he was in high school and also noticing an interest in human behaviour. He was a baseball fanatic as I recall him as a child and was well grounded in the Jewish faith from his upbringing. He was a guy who explored his options and got the most he could from a too-short life.

To the Family Of Miles Estner:
Miles was a true professional and a good friend. As a criminal defense attorney in Kern and San Luis Obispo Counties, he helped me on many occasions. He was a very down to earth individual who gave unselfishly of his time and energy. A drink after court was always a fun event with Miles.

Seymore, I am so sorry about the loss of your son. I was a friend/co-worker of Cynthia, we worked in the welfare office together in E.Liberty and I use to car pool with her sometimes. I will never forget how she would talk about how wonderful all her children were. I still miss her and think of her often and how she loved shopping for jewelry. May you find comfort in those wonderful memories. My deepest sympathy.

To the Family:

My sincerest condolences on the passing of my good friend and often consulted colleague known to me as "Miles". Over the last several years, he consulted with me and advised me (as a defense attorney)on some of my most difficult cases, becoming a friend in the process. His kindness and intelligence will be sorely missed. His loss is immeasurable.

Seymour, Michael & Anita,

My condolences on your loss. Although we lost touch about seven years ago due to living far apart, Steve and I shared a lot of fun moments together. We got to spend eight weeks together backpacking in Europe after college. He taught me a lot about art there, and I must have taught him about something.
