I was so sorry to just hear of the passing of Steve. I was a young Cadet at 54 Division (Metro) when a 22 year old Steve arrived, having just graduated from Aylmer. Although we lost track of eachother when I left for police college myself, I thought of Steve on many occasions during my 36 year career. My thoughts were always of a very funny guy with a fantastic attitude, not only toward the job, but toward life in general.
Steve was great to us Cadets. I remember one cold winter day 40 years ago; Steve pulling up beside me in a yellow police car as I sat freezing on my motorcycle and sidecar on The Danforth. Steve handed me a coffee. Even though it was "double double" it was greatly appreciated.
I will never forget that kind gesture. That and Steve's sense of humour are forever etched in my mind. RIP friend

I have been retired for 16 years and have not seen Steve during that period. I do think of him on occasion. When I do it always puts a smile on my face. More than good humoured, Steve was willing and always carried most of the load. I looked forward to sharing the car with him. Received my 'Tour of Duty' today and was saddened to learn of his passing. Condolences to the GLEN family.

My wife and I were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of such a wonderful, charismatic and charming man. Over the past 20 plus years I have known Steven to be a dedicated Police officer, a mentor and most importantly a loving and deeply devoted family man. His delightful personality always had a way of bringing a smile to the faces of all that surrounded him.
It is with a deep sadness that my family and I were out of the country during Steven's memorial and we were unable to attend. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of Steven's family, especially his children Matt, Jaclyn and Andrew as well as his Grandchildren. It was clear to all how much he loved them.
The good ones always seem to go too soon and you will be sorely missed Mr. Glen / Steevo.

My sincere condolences to Steve's family and friends. I remember the many years I spent working with Steve on "C" Platoon at 54 Division, back when we were all young Constables. He was always a very dependable colleague at any call we were answering.
Despite the passage of time and not seeing him over the years, he remains in memory as a solid and steadfast police officer whom I was proud to have known.
My regrets to the family for being unable to attend the funeral home. I received the sad news by e-mail just after leaving the country on vacation.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Steve Glen. I didn't know him personally, but after seeing the pictures and reading the precious comments, I know he was admired and loved.
While driving down Thornton Rd this afternoon, I witnessed a large funeral procession and I wondered who had passed , that had so many loving people left behind. It saddened me but I also felt great love to know this person touched so many lives., It's evident in the photos and kind loving memories people have shared.
My condolences, I'm very sorry for your loss.

My heartfelt condolences to the GLEN FAMILY:
Steve Glen...A wonderful man who exuded personality galore, pride and love for his family, his admiration for his friends and TPS co-workers too. Steve's wit, charm, hardy laugh, kindness, honesty, sincerity, generosity, and always a "good sport" when being teased or the brunt of a good joke. He will be sadly missed for all of these wonderful traits and more, by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. I for one will miss his larger than life expressiveness !! each and every day at the E-CRC. Pal you made us all laugh, and thank you for that. Steve, you have left us all with a precious gift of great memories and lasting impressions that will never fade the hands of time. Finally and personally..."yes you are the good Steve"... Rest in Peace and God Bless you...Wendells
