Stephen was my uncle and my friend. It always brought me great joy to see he and Thelma dance the night away at my piano bar in Chicago. A sweet and funny man who will be sorely missed. Much love to Thelma, Aaron, Robin and Seb.

Stephen (Goldie) was a very caring person, I met him while caring for his mom, his mom and myself were very happy to see him visit every Sunday at the nursing home where she was, I went to visit him at his home before he passed aways and he had his same charming smile as ever, I will miss him for the compassionate person that he was.

Saddened to hear of Steves passing. Thought you might appreciate a memory of a time almost 60 years ago. Steve and I shared our Bar Mitzvah (1/18/58) at Wantagh Jewish Center. He had a wonderful sense of humor and helped to make our preparation a most enjoyable one. The memory of our sitting together in Cantor Davidsons Office and struggling to learn our Haftorah put a smile on my face.

So Sorry to the Goldberg family. Stephen has been our accountant for over 40 years and considered him a friend. He was such a good person. So loved his yearly updates on his family and practice. We got to know you all through them. I would say we were all lucky to have him in our lives, especially his family. God bless you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Dear Thelma, Goldie was my fraternity brother and through the years I cherished our moments together at NEZ events during and after we both graduated from Northeastern. My wife, Dot, and I have a special memory from a day in 1971. This was the weekend NEZ celebrated its 50th anniversary and we had a preview celebration with you, Goldie, Bill and Linda Delano at your home. It was the start of a great weekend of togetherness for us all. Goldie's smile will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

dear Thelma and family,
Goldie, as he always signed his emails, was a dear old friend from our high school days on Long Island. Meeting up at a reunion reignited our friendship and gave us a chance to know each other as grownups-- with spouses and children and later grandchildren.
His love of and pride in his family was the overriding factor in his life. In his last email to me in the spring when he talked about his stroke and the subsequent cancer diagnosis, he wrote, "Thelma, Aaron, Sebi and Robin and my grand kids have been awesome with their love, support, encouragement and faith in me."
I wish he had lived till 90. With great sadness and our deepest sympathies and love, Marsha (Cohen) and Dom Boer

You will be missed Goldie, but never forgotten❣
You, Thelma, and your family are in our prayers.
We will always have happy memories of our friendship,
and our NEZ Brotherhood..
Rest In Peace Brother.

To Dearest Thelma and Family,
Shed your tears, yet smile because he has lived. Your hearts may feel empty right now, so fill them with the love that you have all shared. Cherish the memories and let them live on & on and do what Goldie would want you to do Smile, live, love, laugh and dance on. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
