I just learned of Steves death today. I had the pleasure of working with Steve when he was with Big Y. We worked together on the redevelopment of the original Westfield Big Y. During that time we discovered that we shared a passion for the NY Giants. We usually kept in touch during the season as the fortunes of the team ebbed and flowed. When the Giants went to the Super Bowl in 2001 I was fortunate enough to attend the game. Steve asked me to get him a couple of souvenirs for his boys so that he could pass down his passion for the team to them. I am very sorry to learn of his passing. He was a good man.

My sincere condolences to Steve's family. Steve and I were very good friends in high school, and I remember him fondly. May knowing how loved he was bring the family some peace.
