Beloved husband of Laurel Marshall, nee Block. Loving father of Elizabeth (Andrew) Cohen and Jon (Kate) Marshall. Proud grandfather of Daniel and Adam Cohen, Bel and Sarah Marshall. Dear brother of Roberta (Marvin) Markowitz. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many other extended family and friends. Memorial service Friday, 11:30 AM at Am Shalom, 840 Vernon Ave., Glencoe, IL 60022. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to ACLU, 125 Broad St., 18th Floor, New York, NY 10004, www.aclu.org or Public Broadcasting System, 2100 Crystal Dr. Arlington, VA 22202, www.pbs.org.
