Stephen Anthony Olinde

Olinde, Stephen Anthony A retired operator with Ethyl Corp. and retired from St. Mary's Catholic Church, he died at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 66, a resident of Glynn and a native of Jarreau. Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads, was on Friday, June 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lakeland, on Saturday from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Greg Daigle. Interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Linda B. Olinde, Glynn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam Breaux and Joey, Port Allen, and Tricia Wolf and Richard, Tampa, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, John Keith Olinde and Catherine of Oscar; sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Wayne Bollick of Lafayette; grandchildren, Eric Chustz, Lacey Chustz, Chelsey Chustz, Jonathon Olinde and Aaron Olinde; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Austin, Blake and Evan Chustz; five stepdaughters and a stepson-in-law, Sandy Porche, Mary Perrault and Craig, Laurie Vosburg, Stacie Guidroz, and Shelly Guerin; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Jack Porche and Tiffany; stepgrandchildren, Bryna St. Romain, Ashley, Tyler, Thomas and Trevor Perrault, Kaitlyn, Micah, Kaleb and Chloe Porche, Hunter and Nicholas Guidroz, Brennan and Nicole Vosburg, Kaitlyn Olinde, and Taylor and Noah Guerin. Preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann St. Romain Olinde; second wife, Dorothy Guidroz Olinde; parents, Wilsey and Rita Aguillard Olinde; and godparents, Sam and Helta Bueche. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Olinde, Aaron Olinde, Eric Chustz, Brent Bollick, Joe Bueche, Jack Porche, Jimmy Porche and Marty Porche. Honorary pallbearers are O.J. Bello, Delton Chenevert, J.O. Porche, Larry Amond and Wayne Bollick. He was a member of Woodmen of the World.
