Stephen Earl Patterson

Stephen (Pat) Earl Patterson, 79, of Dinwiddie, VA died in his home on September 18, 2024. Before retirement, Pat worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Local. He was blessed to work beside his father until he left for retirement. He was a devout Christian and devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Dinwiddie VA. He tried to attend every service if possible.

Pat was preceded in death by his best friend and beloved wife Mary Alice Patterson. Mary and Pat were married for over 60 years and talked to each other every day about everything. Pat was lost without Mary and now he has gone home to be by her side with our Lord and Saviour. Pat was also preceded in death by his so-loved son James Earl Patterson, Mother Elsie Marie Patterson, and Father Ruffin Earl Patterson. He is survived by his daughter Patsy Davis (Tommy Davis), son Will Patterson, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his church families and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church 23814 River Rd, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23803 on September 29, 2024, at 2 pm. In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pat's name to Grace Baptist Church.
