Stephen T. Poe

Stephen T. Poe Greenville, SC Stephen Troy Poe, age 64, of 205 Continental Drive, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at his home. He was a native of Pittsburgh, PA and a son of the late Harold Vance and Stacie Cutright Poe. Mr. Poe was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He was a twenty year employee of the Fluor Corporation as a Lead Piping engineer. Stephen was a member of the Corvair Society of America and CORSASC. He was also a longtime Scout Leader in the upstate and in Pittsburgh. He will be remembered as a friend always ready to help anyone in need and as a devoted husband, loving father and adoring Grandpap. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pat Poe; sons, Kevin Poe of Pooler, GA; and Darren Poe and wife, Ann of Greenville; brother, Terry Poe of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Carole Poe of San Clemente, CA and granddaughters, Susie and Allie Poe of Greenville. Mr. Poe is at The Mackey Mortuary where the family will receive friends Thursday from 2pm to 3:30pm with services at 3:30pm with the Rev. Dr. Randy Kowalski officiating.
