Randy, you were a Man for All Seasons . a great friend and colleague . I'm ashamed I haven't kept in touch more often . Again like the sad and time you lost Connie, I now am so sadden by your passing. Should any Gretz family member come through Phoenix, call and we'll have lunch and discuss Randy and his accomplishments. Sincerely, Tom Whalen

Was really sad to hear about this. Randy was a wonderful guy that I first got to know through Sankaty Golf and then when I moved to Lake Forest and joined the 553 Train Car. He was always welcoming and friendly. He will be missed

I was saddened to hear about Randy. What a kind, intelligent, generous, and fun-loving person he was. I took the Lake Forest Private Car (the '553') with him for years. We will all miss him. My thoughts and prayers go to his family at this time.

It's sad to lose such a charming guy, Randy had that and some lesser but also important traits. For example, he was a wizard with investments, he helped many of us with that. God bless Randy and thank you for sharing him with us.

I still have fond memories of Randy as a child. I thought it was such fun to have cousins living one street over in Beach Haven, NJ.
So sad we were never able to get together as adults .
The eulogy from Randy’s child is a wonderful tribute to their dad and his love.

We really enjoyed the times we spent with Randy and Tricia in Florida and Illinois. He was one of the kindest and most generous persons we’ve met. He has left us too soon and is very missed. We pray for him and the entire family at this sad time.

Randy was always the most gracious friend and never failed to uplift any gathering. We will miss him - if only I could tell stories like he did.
Rest in Peace. Ron Nahser

Randy, You made a very positive impact on the people you knew. I will sincerely miss your personality and saying what you wanted to say. I loved our time together. Maidstone was too hard for me as I aged. Tom

Our thoughts and prayers are going out to Tricia, Laura, Randy, James and the entire Gretz family. Randy lived and loved life in a big way. Always enjoyed his quick wit and his telling of jokes. He had a special way about him. He will be missed by all who knew him. May you rest in peace. God bless you and your lovely family.

I will miss Randy's wit and of course his golf course mentoring which improved my handicap. May his spirit continue to shine on our world.

Randy's great sense of humor enabled him to enter a room and raise everyone's spirits. He was, of course, a very successful man. But, he was much more than that. He was a real friend.
