I'm devastated to read this news while out of state. My love and condolences to Susan and family. Steve was my friend and boss for years as I entered the actuary field and his guidance and support were so important to my career. One of the smartest people that I've known - Steve always seemed to know the answers beforehand and just needed my help to confirm with backup information. I know he is perpetually flying above the clouds now.

My deepest sympathies on your loss. I had the privilege of working with Steve for many years. He was a colleague, a mentor and a friend. His passion for his work, flying and his family were always evident. Steve left us too soon but I know he had an impact on so many lives who are better off for having known him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
