I have known Steve for 17 years since i first started with the Assessor's office. He trained me in Land appraisal, and with that dry wit of his had me laughing so hard so often. Once he went to the Isd dept i didn't see him much but he always talked to me when we did me! I will miss him alot. He was a great coworker and friend. My prayers are with his family!

Steve's dry wit and computer knowledge= a great co-worker to know.... our sympathy to his family.

Steve always had a smile for you every morning and would help with anything you needed. You always knew it was Steve in a crowd because of his hat. No one wore a hat like him. My sympathies to him loved ones. He will be missed by many.

I always enjoyed seeing Steve on his walks/breaks. He will be missed here. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Steve had a positive influence toward life and those who knew him. He will be missed.

My cousins, Steve & Brad, were my bestest friends during the amazing summers @ Kingsdown KS. We would dream in homemade tree houses, make houses with rooms out of the infinite tumble weeds that got caught in the tree belt, build bridges and roads with our construction equipment in the sand box, stir around in the attic of the "homestead" established 1885 through boxes of pictures, model airplanes and dust. He would call me "coy" routinely. I loved him and have been saddened to the bone to hear of his passing. I loved his laugh and the spark of his eyes. I will see you again, my dear Steve!

Cuz Steve with his stash and beard was my "Salvi looka like" after Salvador Dali. He always gave the best hugs and his expressive eyes made me smile. I know he is smiling and watching over us all. I love you Steve and always will. Cousin Tracy xoxo

As his co-worker I knew Steve for more than 10 years. His untimely passing away came as a big shock and saddened us all. He had a big presence in our department and he will be missed a lot. My condolences to the family.

This came as quite a shock to all of us here at work. He will be missed. So sorry for your loss Mary Hanna, Monica, and Gus. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

Steve showed me the ropes at the Assessors Office when I first started working there. He was a good friend, He will be missed. Strangely on our last visit to our favorite lunch destination "Da Vang", we talked how we had been coming here for twelve years. Steve we shall meet again and have a 52!!

Steve was a significant friend to me at both Prescott College and U of A, his passing has stirred up memories of his excellent cooking abilities even then. I am sorry to have lost touch with him. Time flies. See you later, Steve.

We're grateful for the times we got to spend with Steve and his wonderful family. He was a great cousin and a good man who will be missed.

Steve & I resonated on a lot of levels—hiking, hunting, vinyl vs. CDs, jazz artists like Zoot Sims, appreciation of regional accents like Texans saying "I tell you what", after a sentence, baseball, not getting caught up in how much we made and how many hydro-carbon fueled toys we amassed, and the correct way to pronounce 'business' (bidness). His wit, to put it in a way he'd appreciate, was drier than a popcorn fart. I especially miss his presence, humor and pizza crusts when we fired up our horno and had pizza parties. He was extremely proud of his daughter Mary Hannah and son Gus. He was somebody I could count on when the chips were down and considered a true friend. We'll miss him.
