My condolences to Steve´s family. I worked with Steve for 12 years, it was a pleasure working with him, and being able to call him a friend. He and his family will be in our prayers .

Who knew that getting something welded up would lead to long friendship. Spent a lot of time and worked on a lot of Projects with Steve. Thanks for showing me so many tricks and all the help through the years. His best quote "the welder don't care who is holding it!" God speed Steve.

Wished I met him a lot earlier in life. Shared stories of truck driving and stock cars. A motorcycle brother , bars up & pipes down. Rest easy.

Steve was one of the Best! Met him 40 years ago when we raced together at Wall Stadium. Always there to help anyone who needed it. A tough competitor but a clean racer. Taught me a lot on how to be a diligent fabricator. Gonna miss our conversations at Wall Stadium about racing and life in general. Godspeed Steve.

Sending deepest sympathy to the family on this sudden loss.
I had the opportunity to see Steve over the summer at his son,John 's and his wife Gladys' home for a family cookout. It had been many ,many years since we had seen each other and we sat a chatted for quite some time. Little did we know this would happen and I'm glad we had that time together. May he rest in peace
