Stephen TASKER Obituary
Suddenly on Saturday January 31, 2015, Stephen Shawn Tasker passed away at the age of 53 years. Stephen was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces with 30 years of service. Predeceased by his parents Fred and June Tasker. Beloved husband of Lorri Smith. Loving and devoted father of Logan and step-father of Natasha. Cherished grandfather of Calvyn and Danika. Dear brother of Darryl (Diane), Darlene (Martin Freda), Richard (Frank), Bonnie (the late Jerry Simpson), Janet (Stan Beerenfenger), Charles, and Cheryl (George Attie). Stephen will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay respects at the

Steve, you bought me the frame when we bought out home, I put your flowers that laid on your coffin into this oval frame and this hangs in our bedroom. I wake up every morning and I see the heart shape in the flowers, and every night I kiss your urn goodnight. Its not the same as having you here with me, but now this is my life.
I know you are with us still, you make your present felt here in our home. Every time our grandchildren come over your clock face opens, knocks on the door. We know that its you saying hi, and that you are watching the kids. thanks.
I cannot believe that one year is coming up without you, Some days are still very hard but that part of the healing, some days are good and I smile. I am learning to live so that you can live through me and enjoy my life. Thanks you for not leaving me completely your soul is with me, and that we not change.

Hey Stephen, well your grandson is in to paw petrel you know how he like his fire truck and ambulance so in the show it has that might be the reason he likes it well if you wear hear with use he would be getting you to watch it with him over and over. Stephen, this morning I wrote you a Honey to Do List. Put the winter window back into the front door, and get my Thanksgiving Decoration out of the shed. Left the list on the table and went to work. Then I came home and had to do your list. Sorry I forgot. Some days I forget then reality hits me. I cannot believe that 8 months is tomorrow, I still look for you at work, and at home. My mother said that she hates waiting for her husband to come home, but boy I would give the world to see you walk in the door, kiss me, or say " You should have stayed in school. I decorated the mirror like I always do for our grandkids for Thanksgiving.
I'm thankful for having you in my life and loving me and Natasha and our grandchildren Calvyn and Danika.
God could have left you with me some more. But I guest he needed someone special to fill a special job, and that was you.
