Steve was my first boss in 1982. We worked at The Alter Group together. He remained a friend and mentor throughout my life but I didn't see much of him the last few years. Although I did run into him at East Bank Club once in a while. He was always focused on his health and fitness. I have been shocked and deeply saddened by his passing. He was a big part of my early life and career. I'm thankful to have known him well.

Sailing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, weekly racketball, friend and mentor, Steve has been a part of my life about as long as I remember. Always there for a lifetime. Love you

I am a close friend of Steve's sister, Abby. We grew up together and I attended Francis Parker, too.
Please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss.

I knew Steve through one of my dearest childhood friends, his wife Katie. We would get together when they were in town. While I didn´t know Steve well, I always enjoyed our time together. I didn´t need to spend a lot of time with the man to know the caliber of his character. It was evident in the way he treated Katie, how they were together, and the happiness that oozed from them both when they were together. Steve, you were one of the good ones! You will try be missed!
