Thinking of Stephen today, on his birthday. Missing our phone calls today, 5/17 for his birthday, and on 5/19 for mine. I think of him so often, and Stuart, Judy, Cynthia, Anderson and Hannah are in my thoughts and prayers.

Stephen was super smart and kind. Even after these many years his passing shocked me because he was so warm. I remember the last time we were together at Larry Eagan´s house on my old street. I said something and Stephen´s laugh is still in the air. That lovely laugh. Lovely man. Much love to his family. - Peter

Jon and I just learned of Stephen's passing -- on Election Day when we might well have run into him at town hall! He was possibly the most positive person we have ever met! Loaded with ideas on how to solve problems or simply make things run more smoothly. What a hole he will leave for all who knew him and indeed the entire town to which he devoted so many hours in so many capacities. He will be well-remembered and certainly missed.

Sorry to hear of Stephen's passing. I enjoyed our conversations at the Cornwall Bridge Post Office and his visits in Bantam as well. He is missed by many.

I just watched the livestream of the service. Thank you Cynthia, for sending it along. I wish more than anything that I could have been there. I am numb. We worked together on projects, became friends and WERE friends for 26 years. He was so talented, smart and quick on his feet. From his "Just Sit Back and Enjoy the Ride" days to "Linchpin at Large," Stephen was a consistent, loyal friend, collaborator and confidante. I will miss him terribly. My heart goes out to Cynthia, Anderson and Hannah, and to Stephen's parents at this time of great sadness. I may be in Arizona, but if there's anything I can do for you guys, let me know.

Warshaw family,

I am so incredibly shocked to hear about the passing on Stephen. I have worked alongside him for many months now and I have to say, he is one of nicest, kindest and genuine men I have yet to meet.

Stuart, Judy, Cathy, Cynthia, Hannah and Anderson, I am so sorry for your loss. Steve and I met and became friends when we shared a desk at his dad's Berkshire Color and Chemical Company over 30 years ago. I was working - Stephen was dreaming up adventures like bungee jumping and limo scavenger hunts. So many memories, so many laughs. I will miss my yearly happy birthday call from him. Warshaw family, I am unable to attend services today, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Always,

I remember Stephen from many years at Pine Knoll Swim School. I am sorry to hear of his recent passing. I can picture his blond hair and big grin, always pleasant! In case the name doesn't ring a bell, I was Mrs. Doering's niece and would've been on staff at PKSS.

Karen and I were down-the-street neighbors of the Warshaws. For the past fourteen years we have been honored to call Stephen a friend. Exceptionally bright and hard working, he was always full of ideas, eager to help, and always had a ready smile. He will be greatly missed. Kindly excuse our absence; we moved to Florida two months ago. Karen, Mike, and I offer our deepest condolences to the family. Jim Shaw
