I worked for Steve when I first graduated Bank of Boston's LODP in the Back Bay Loan Center Team. He was fun and kind and a great teacher. He was always someone with whom we enjoyed spending time.

I am so saddened by his passing and send my love at this difficult time.

I worked with Steve many years ago when we opened an office in Boston. We were a young team, newly brought together, and Steve was mentor, confidant, advisor, and leader all wrapped up in one. He was always there to bring context and help us grow; both as a business but more importantly, as people. I hold dear many of the lessons I learned from Steve; suspect many do.

A very generous man and great friend. Was a BC Class of ‘73 classmate; 18 of us got together every year for 41 straight years with Steve for a 3 day “fishing trip.” We will miss him.
