Dr. Whites kindness and grace will always be remembered. Our kids do not fear going to the dentist because of Dr. White. This is a lifelong gift and his legacy to all of his patients. Thinking of you all and lifting you up in prayers at this time.

I started my practice two years before Steve in Austin, and did refer children patients to him. I was very impressed with the positive comments of his handling/treatment of the kids. May the memories of the fun and good times with Steve help his family's hearts heal in the days ahead. He was a special man and dentist, and glad I knew him.

Dear Kay
Steve and I crossed paths often. I met him in 1973 when I was working for Dr Billy K Thomson.
We shared a love a love for dentistry while we watched Austin grow. The idea of the City having 2 pedodontists was only a dream.
Then as we served on many events at St Matthews, we had a shared dream of serving Northwest hills while many new families were moving to Austin.
As you lived across the street from Tommy and Dianne, he always waved as I was visiting them. Being in Ruidoso in the snow brought out many Austin families.
I along with many in the dental field will miss him very much.
And yes, Steve was right. You have a really cool walk.
God Bess,
Andie Beck

Dr. White was such a kind and gentle soul. I worked with him during Christina's Smiles season and the Theo project. Sincere condolences to his family, colleagues and friends that knew him. May the Lord rest your soul, Dr. White

Dr. White was especially helpful with my son's front baby tooth which was knocked out damaging the permanent tooth. We spent years working on it until it was finally replaced permanently when my son was 21.
What a sad tragedy to have lost Dr. White!
My sympathies,
Cynthia Shaw

Steve and I first met as dental students at
Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. In fact,
he did a lot of my own dental work during that time.He then completed his Pediatric Dentistry
residency at Baylor and I followed him two years later.
Over the years,Steve and I had a lot of great times together playing golf, discussing challenges
in our practices and overall, just enjoying each others company.
I was heartbroken to learn of the loss of my
friend and colleague.May God bless his family
and comfort them in this indescribable time of
sorrow.

Condolences to the family of Dr White. I had the privilege of working with him at Bailey Square for many years and my children went to their practice but saw Dr Hale. Thought a lot of the 3 original dentists in the group, Dr. Tate, Hale, and White. Peace of Christ be with you all.

We got to know Steve and Kay when my husband Art couched Taylors youth soccer team. We enjoyed Steves wonderful sense of humor and Kays kind heart for several years as the kids grew into teenagers We are so very sorry for your loss and know Steve is smiling down at all his many friends and family. Much love and God be with you through this difficult time. Carol Earle

Always kind. Will remember that characteristic of Dr White. Helped my son navigate a jaw growth deformity that developed 3 months before he went to college in California. Did a cavity, put bubbles in my 3 year old daughters little tooth and she came out smiling with enough prizes to float a battleship. Referred many patients from the Austin Childrens Clinic through the years. All of the nurses there thought he was a huge dreamboat of a guy. Cried when I learned this news- am so sorry for his family. He was one of the very best, he will be missed by many - May it give you some measure of comfort to know how much his patients and colleagues cared
