Sympathy is offered to the family and friends of Steve Yuhas. He was almost always smiling. It was his natural personality to make people happy, to make people laugh. I remember the first time i talked to him...at The Jordan. I was bowling, he was, well, making people laugh. I told him with those huge arms he should be an arm wrestler and told him about a competition at the Police Club in Saucon Park that weekend. He showed up, and won...and we all smiled. I also remember the first thing he said to me (and said it many times after) - "you remind me of Howdy Doody" you have lines on your face where his puppet mouth is." I should have been offended but i had to laugh, hysterically, every time he said it. We had lost touch for a while and finally got together with a phone call not too long ago, during the first covid stages. We laughed and talked and it was like old times. Tom got to know him over those years and they got along great, of course. I know the family requested memorials to AID, and I hope they don't mind. I sent a donation in his memory to the Animal Health and Welfare fundraiser. Two reasons: the gifts were matched, and more importantly it was called "Pins for Pets" and took place at The Jordan. How could I pass that memorial up! Ah, we loved him so...Susan and Tom Kirk

My condolences on the passing of your brother. I first met Steve at First National and remained friends. Dancing with him at Castle Gardens, seeing him with his bike at the Philadelphia Car and Bike show winning that trophy. Helping me after my parents passed to unload the furniture. I never knew anyone else that could tell a story quite like Big Steve! Prayers for your family during this difficult time.

Very sad to see Steve has passed. Such a gentle giant. Worked with him at First National Bank. There was a group of guys who were all great. Small bank back then and everyone was friends. Steve was a friend to everyone. I have so many fun memories, bank bowling league etc, and one really funny one, being me stuck in the freight bank elevator and Steve calming me down...thru the door. lol He was such a sweet big"teddybear"..God bless you and keep you Steve.
Lots of memories....
Love,
Deana
