Sterling was a devoted husband and father. I do not think that there was a day that went by when we were together that he did not speak about his wife and son. Sterling was also a wonderful friend, whose friendship and companionship I cherished and whose wisdom I sought out. I was always in awe of his ability to take the high road, despite such adversity around him. May his memory be a blessing and a lesson for those whose lives he touched. Sterling, I will miss you my friend. With much love, Richard (Will, Emma, Taylor and Austin).

I was so sorry to hear of Sterling's passing. He was a gentle man, a complete professional, and a great colleague here at Fidelity. He will be missed.

I also worked with Sterling at the Newton Planning Dept in the 80's. He was one of the hardest working and one of the most intelligent people I've known. He also had a passion for making things happen. His kind and easy going manner made it easy for everyone to work with and relate to him. Know that he is missed.

Sterling was such a delight to work with. He had a light touch and was able to accomplish all he pursued without taking himself too seriously. I had a great deal of respect for him. My thoughts are with you Mika and Sam.

Sterling was an early and valuable member of the Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation Board --- talented, thoughtful, articulate and gentlemanly.
