I was in high school with Sterling. He was a wonderful guy and loads of fun. I will always remember his Corvair and how much he loved it. We touched base after the 50th high school reunion before I flew back home. We met at the airport in Columbus and he talked about his wonderful family and how proud he was of them all.
My condolences to the family and to all the people that knew and loved him

Sterling dated my older Sister for a few years when they were both in high school. He was like a big brother and my first mentor.
Sterling introduced me to cool cars (I always loved a ride in the red Jeep Wagoner), the world of short wave radios, and photography - always kindly sharing his knowledge with a sense of humor and unique point of view.
We stayed in touch through my college years. It was around that time that I decided to be a commercial photographer. I would continue to call him over the years with the occasional photography question.
I had the good fortune of seeing Sterling about three years ago when we spent a few hours catching up. It was a pleasure listening to his great stories and ever quick wit.
I am grateful to Sterling for influencing the course of my life. He will be missed and always remembered.

Sterling was a neighbor and friend of our family in Worthington for many, many years. His kindness, helpfulness and, yes, sense of humor were unparalleled! He and his wife, Linda, embodied the true meaning of "looking out for your neighbor". He will be missed by many.
Sending our prayers and sympathy to Sterling“s family and loved ones,
Anne Wenzelberger Ryan and family
