Steve “Spike” Alan Cordell, 51, of Point Blank, Texas passed away Jan. 10, 2008 in a Galveston, Texas, Hospital.Mr. Cordel was born Sept. 12, 1956, at the Barksdale, La., Air Force Base to George Erwin Cordell and Glorian Louise Drews.He was a self-employed motorcycle mechanic and loved to ride motorcycles.He is survived by his three sons, Shawn Tousignant of Magnolia, Texas, Joshua Cordell of Axtell, Texas and Andrew Cordell of Point Blank, Texas; father, George Cordell of Morganton, N.C.; his mom, Glorian Drews of Point Blank, Texas; two sisters, Lori Lee Ivey of Wharton, Texas, and Georgian Cordell of Point Blank, Texas; and one grandson, Xarder Tousignant; and a host of family and friends.Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. at the Brooke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at Brooke Cemetery.
