It's been many years. But Dr. Dain was the best chiropractor I ever had. Also his Great Danes he had in his office were so adorable. He also had to of them when I went in with my Mom. She would get adjusted and he was also so sweet and gentle. He definitely helped me with my migraines and I was only 12. I'm 39 now but he has and his kindness has never left my memory.

Piecing together the tapestry of my life, I came across this obituary about the most genuine human being I have ever known, Steve Dain. I truly loved this man, who I engaged as a therapist back in 1978 when I was only 18. I cannot remember how I found him, but Steve literally saved my life. He was the real deal, beautiful inside and out. I will always remember and admire his courage, tenacity and insistence upon living an authentic life, no matter the cost. Rest well valiant warrior, you will always be alive in my heart.

Steve, my husband and I had been great friends for many, many years. We lived in the same Union City neighborhood and shared a common interest in animals and holistic medicine. I always looked forward to my visits as his patient/friend because we always had something to talk about but somehow never had time to finish our talks so we always had something to look forward to the next time we met. We appreciated the caring and compassionate way he handled his patients and the extra time he took to comfort them. Our deepest and sincerest sympathies to all his loved ones, especially to Robyn.

Dr. Dain was my professor at Life West. He was truly an inspiration to me. I learned so much about HEALING from him and his wife. They helped me and my family when both of my parents were diagnosed with illnesses. Dr. Dain was a treasure to the chiropractic profession. My deepest sympathies goes out to his family. He was an awesome, awesome guy.

I first met Steve when he was a P.E. teacher at Emeryville High School many years ago. Over the ensuing years, my wife and I kept in touch with him. Steve eventually bought a home near ours in Union City and our sons were his paper boys. He was a wonderful influence on them and they enjoyed dropping by to visit and going bowling with him. We just recently were informed of his passing. Our deepest condolences to Robyn and the entire family. We will always remember Steve's kindness, his joy of life, his wonderful smile, and his passion for everything he did. It is a great personal loss. We will miss him terribly.

I just found out today via e-mail of Dr. Dain's passing. It took me by surprise. He was a passionate man and I learned more from him than I even realized I had at the time. I consider myself very blessed to have known him. I am so sorry for his family's loss...and our loss of such a loving and passionate man.
