Steve Grundy Obituary
Stephen Grundy, 65, passed away on June 7, 2023. He died peacefully while held by his beloved wife, Karen with family by his side.
Steve was the son of the late Mabel and Joseph Grundy.
In addition to his wife, Karen Grundy, he leaves behind his children Starsia Beauvais and Jon, Sean & Laura McKeon, Joshua & Lisa Grundy and Jessica Douglas, siblings Joann & Darrell Sepalla, sister Jayne & Carol Olmstead, Iris Chase (predeceased), Lisa Bielz (predeceased).
He is also survived by sister-in-law Anne Donofrio, brother-in-law Brian Donofrio, father-in-law Tony Petrillo and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Steve proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a man of great integrity and honor. Steve will be remembered for his dedication to his extended family and his country.
A service honoring Steve's life will be held on June 17th at 2:00 pm at Encounter Church, 18 South West Park, Westwood, MA 02090.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln MA.
Steve will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

What a wonderful Celebration of Life. My wife Debbie and I were so glad we were able to attend. We wish the best to Karen and the kids. Steve was a wonderful man and a great co-worker.

My heart goes out to you and the family, I can recall how you beamed with pride whenever you talked about Steve. You two complimented each other,inseparable and shared a one-of-a-kind bond that can never be broken. Steve and I worked together at Linchris for a couple of years. He quickly became a sounding board for me, and we would talk often about work and also life. He shared his life experiences with me, and would give me guidance that I still go by today. Even when I left the place of work, he would still check in and make sure things were going okay for me. He was a truly amazing man, and I am saddened by this news, but also thankful to have had the chance to know him. May he rest in the sweetest peace. Thinking and praying for his family for the loss of such an honorable person.

My heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies are with Karen and the family and friends that were so close to Steve. It's clear that he and Karen had a wonderful and supportive relationship and family. My favorite memory of Steve will be his sense of humor. No matter how much time went by and we didn't connect, we always just picked up where we left off; with sarcasm and humor. He is gone too soon.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to all of Steve's Grundy's family. Steve was a good Man. His intentions were always good. I know he loved his family dearly and would do anything for you all. He will be missed but never forgotten.
When somebody passes, when you find it easier in time, talking about them is what keeps them alive for years to come.
Will always remember his smile his good nature and his goofy and fun sense of humor.
Rest in peace good soul. We'll see you once again someday.

I only knew Steve during the course of his illness, but quickly learned what a warm, funny, and kind individual he was. He handled his illness with a tremendous amount of grace and sincerity, and it was truly a pleasure getting to know him and Karen. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved this wonderful man.
