Steve Hamas Obituary
of Phoenix, AZ passed away November 5, 2009 at the age of 76. He was born on July 8, 1933 in Pittsburg, PA. Steve spent most of his life in Phoenix, AZ. He taught 32 years in the Cartwright School District. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Steve is survived by his wife Dolores, four children, Mike, Steve, Lisa Dugan and Beth Madsen, four grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew and Lyndsay Madsen and Heather Hamas, one sister Marge Kopay and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, November 9, 2009, 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., with Parastas Service at 7:00 P.M., St. Stephen's Bysantine
Catholic Church, 8141 North 16th Street. Funeral Liturgy will be Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10:00 A.M., also at St. Stephen's Bysantine Catholic Church. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.

Aunt Doe & Family,
Very sad to hear that Uncle Steve has passed. He was a great guy and will be missed at all of our family gatherings. He will not be forgotten.

MaryGrace and I were sadden to see Steve's passing. Our prayers to Dolores and family. Steve was always a fixture at Saint Steven's Friday Nights. We will miss him. Yours in Civitan.

Steve and I were friends in High School and College. He was always a gentleman, and extremely generous with his friends. I always had much respect for Steve. I lost contact with Steve since College. He will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers goes to Mrs. Hamas and family.
