We started a weekly rapport that lasted all these years

I was deeply saddened to hear of Steve's passing. He always had a smile and kind words to say. The memories of Steve go back to growing up in Greektown. I am so deeply saddened to learn of Steve's passing. I feel blessed to have known such a kind gentleman who cherished and loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He was an amazing and talented musician and took such pride in his work. Christina, I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I know this time will be so difficult for all of you but hold on to the good memories all of you shared together, the laughter, the joy and the beauty of family. I will always remember the twinkle in Steve's eyes, his wonderful sense of humor, his strength even with all of the challenges and difficulties he had faced over the years and especially this past year and of course, the pride he held in his heart for all of you. My deepest sympathy and condolences.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Steve.
I played drums with Steve in a Greek band. He was
very helpful to me learning to play Greek music.
He was a good person and will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. Stee and I worked together for many years. He was a talented and professional co-worker and again I am sorry for your loss.

My condolences to you and your family. I also worked with Steve for many years. He will be sorely missed.

I had the good fortune of growing up with this man's nephew, nieces and children. To my brother and I he was just "Uncle Steve". He was always quick with a joke, and had a smile on his face. While most adults were busy being the serious folks that adults tend to be, he could be found whispering something hysterical into one of our ears, and laughing with us. I never got a chance to thank him for taking us to terps games , or playing basketball with us when we were young men...basically teaching us the game. Giving my condolences and sympathies just doesn't cover it. He's one of the good guys. I'm a better man for knowing him. Thank You Uncle Steve, you will be missed.
