Steve Semanco Jr.

Steve Semanco Jr., age 66, died August 17, 2018. Beloved husband of Roberta for over 41 years. Dear brother of Robert (Missy), Roseann (Richard) Frank, Joni (Jim) Canfield, and Michael (Shelly). Dearest uncle of Michelle (Chris), Josh (Jen), James, Jessica, Audrey, Amanda, Jake, Ryan, Jill, Debbie, Danielle (Dylan), Todd (Colleena), Steven, Bruce Jr., Jenn (Dan), and Jackie. Cherished great uncle of Lenox, Zoey and Bryce. Beloved son of the late Rose.

Steve retired from the Roseville Post Office after 34 years of service. He loved to fish, bowl, play baseball and golf. In 2005, he bowled his first 300 game. He was a simple, private guy who loved to watch sports on TV or watch his nieces and nephews play sports. His sister, Joni said that he taught her to take responsibility for her actions. He was an amazing and loving son, brother, husband and uncle. Steve's cancer started in April and he fought a courageous and brave battle to try and beat this terrible disease. But it was a fast and aggressive cancer that took over his body and mind. He will be greatly missed by everyone!!

A memorial service will take place on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11 am (Instate at 10 am) at Shepherd's Gate Church, 12400 23 Mile Rd, Shelby Charter Township.
