To the Weisman Family>> I was stunned and saddened when I learned of Steve's death. I still have fond memories of "hanging out" with the Weisman clan and all the good years in St. Louis Park. Steve was a very special person who always had a warm hug and funny story whenever I saw him.
I wish I could have paid my respects at the funeral. My deepest regards to the entire family. Alan Stesin

Dear Weisman Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I remember as youngster coming to stay at Irv and Shayndel's house for a visit. Steve would tease me and make his mother very upset. I would laugh because he always had a crazy grin on his face.
I have many happy memories of spending time with him and his family.
My condolences to all of you.

I just learned today that Steve died and was shocked and am saddened to hear this news...
I literally thought of him yesterday, when I was explaining to someone how we used to go to take steam baths at Nicollet Hotel, as young kids and thru our high school years....
Steve used to bring deli food and feed us all, as we sat around in our towels, like the 'big shots' we thought we were....
I have many fond memories of Steve, and like most of the other mentions here, I think of him as a funny, kind, and sweet man, who went out of his way to cheer me and others up, always having a joke to share, and further, a kind and compassionate heart....
I am very sad to hear of his passing, yet smile just thinking of him...
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Weisman Family and all Steve's friends...

To The Weisman Family,
I received a call from my sister Marcia last eveneing informing me of Steve's passing. I am sending my condolences to all of you. Even though I have not seen Steve in over 12 years, I have many fond memories of our childhood and our time in the 15 Club! I spent a lot of time over at his house with Ronnie, Lisa, Cousin Billy, Cousin David (Chino), Cousin Parell, Shandel, and of course Irving. They were all so kind and loving to me and I can remember the laughs we shared. May God help you through your grief and grant you peace. Steve was a big part of my teen-young adult memeories. A fun loving kind man. My blessings to all of you.

Some of the best memories from my childhood in St. Louis Park were of spending time with my cousins Steve, Ronnie, Risa, Shandel, Irving and the rest of the Weisman clan. My grandmother, Lil Guttmann, had a particular soft spot for Stevie, because he always made her (and the rest of us) laugh. My condolences to Steve's wife, children, family and friends.

Lisa and Family,
Gayle and I send our condolences.Steve was a good friend and will always be in my heart. I can picture Steve at about 15 years old, cruising down the street on his motorbike, and instead of a helmet, he would wear a cooking pot on his head. He will be missed. God Bless you.
