Steven Albrizio Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 16, 2023.
Steven Albrizio, a beloved resident of New Haven, Connecticut, passed away on August 22, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Steven, known to his friends and family as Steve, had a big heart and was a friendly, outgoing person. He always had a great smile and loved to chat with everyone he met. Steve had a passion for gardening and took great pride in his collection of plants. He also had a love for antique cars and enjoyed working on them in his spare time. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his wife Donna. They would start their day by enjoying morning coffee together and planning various activities and chores. Their bond was truly special.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Steve attended Doherty High School in Worcester. He cherished his family and leaves behind a legacy of love. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Donna, his parents Rosemary and Eugene Albrizio, his brother Joel Albrizio and his wife Jennifer, his sister Susan Albrizio and her fiancé Rob, his son Joseph Albrizio and his wife Kristen, his daughter Jennifer Albrizio, his daughter Rose Tineo and her husband Fausto, as well as his three beautiful grandchildren and two beautiful great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Steve's life will be announced at a later date. This gathering will give family and friends an opportunity to come together, share stories, and honor the memory of a truly remarkable man.

In the wake of Steve's passing, his family finds solace in the memories they shared and the love he brought into their lives. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Being the proud mother to Steven, I have a lifetime of special memories, that will now have to carry me through my final years... His first smile , I was witness to , his first steps, I was witness to, well in short his firsts of everything I got to enjoy and witness. Steven was our first born and that always holds a special bond between parent and child. We will never stop loving Steven and will keep him closely to our hearts. Forever!!!! Yes Steven was a fun loving man and loved to experience meeting new people, talked openly to stranger and made friends easily. When he was admitted to the hospital recently and I was on the phone with him he was joking with the nurses and made friends of them . I will miss the daily calls to ensure our wellness and opened each day with, Hi Mom so what's new... that was every day of his life.. Steven and I as his Mom also had a special bond which no one could break, we had a special way of talking to each other that was understood and cherished... Steven also had a love of tools that he shared with his Dad for car work and yard work. He has a large collection of them and had planned to use them around his yard and on his cars which he shared with his Dad each day when he called home.
donations will be made in Stevens name to St Jude.
